Job summary

DSJ Global is seeking a CAPEX Category Manager to manage procurement across multiple manufacturing facilities, balancing strategic sourcing with hands-on execution and stakeholder engagement. You will develop CAPEX sourcing strategies for capital projects, plant equipment, MRO and services, lead RFQs and negotiations, and drive cost reduction and supplier performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of procurement, sourcing, category management, or purchasing experience within manufacturing or related industries.
• Experience supporting capital projects, plant equipment procurement, MRO, engineering services, construction services, or CAPEX categories.
• Strong negotiation, supplier management, and contract management skills.
• Cross-functional collaboration with operations, engineering, and finance.
• Experience using spend analysis to identify savings opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for CAPEX, capital projects, plant equipment, and related services.
• Partner with plant leadership, engineering, operations, and project teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve supplier performance.
• Lead RFQs, supplier evaluations, negotiations, and contract execution for capital projects and equipment purchases.
• Analyze plant spending, identify sourcing opportunities, and implement procurement strategies that drive value and reduce total cost.
• Manage supplier relationships and support vendor qualification, performance management, and risk mitigation activities.
• Support equipment purchases, facility upgrades, plant expansions, and other capital investments across manufacturing operations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to overall procurement performance and savings targets.
