Job summary

First Tech Federal Credit Union is seeking a Business Analyst for Capacity and Workforce Planning to proactively manage enterprise capacity and headcount against roadmap demand. You will deliver forward-looking insights to enable leadership to trade off scale, prioritization, and delivery risk.

Partner with Finance and Delivery leadership to ensure data-driven decisions aligned to strategic commitments, with a hybrid work model in Marlborough, MA & Chelmsford, MA and Hillsboro, OR.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and data modeling expertise with resource data and headcount/budget models.
• Ability to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and cost pressures; articulate trade-offs clearly.
• Proven experience building dashboards and management reports for senior leadership.
• Experience partnering with Finance and Delivery leadership on planning, forecasting, and investments.
• Strong communication; translate analysis into actionable recommendations.
• Business acumen to connect financial insights to enterprise strategy and value.
• Proven ability to influence senior decision-making on funding and prioritization.
• Exceptional critical thinking and judgment in evaluating cost drivers and options.
• Strong stakeholder management across Finance, Delivery, and executives.
• Translate complex financial and operational data into clear business impacts.

Responsibilities

• Develop, run, and maintain capacity and headcount planning models across teams, portfolios, and delivery domains.
• Analyze vendor utilization, throughput, and dependency risk; surface exposure tied to delivery concentration or skills gaps.
• Identify capacity constraints and misalignments between demand forecasts and supply.
• Support scenario planning to evaluate options for scaling, rebalancing, or reprioritizing initiatives.
• Partner with Finance and Delivery leadership on workforce-related trade-offs, including make/buy and vendor mix.
• Maintain forward-looking views of capacity risk tied to roadmap milestones and initiatives.
• Translate complex data into executive-ready insights to support governance and investment decisions.
