Job summary

First Tech Federal Credit Union is seeking a Business Analyst for Capacity and Workforce Planning to proactively manage enterprise capacity and headcount against demand across portfolios, teams, and vendors. You will provide forward-looking insights to enable leadership to trade off scale, prioritization, and delivery risk.

The role partners with Finance and Delivery leadership to ensure data-driven, transparent workforce decisions aligned with strategic commitments.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and data modeling capabilities with resource data, delivery pipelines, and budget models.
• Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and cost pressures; articulate trade-offs clearly.
• Experience building dashboards and management reports for senior leadership.
• Experience with planning, forecasting, and investment decisions with Finance and Delivery leaders.
• Excellent communication to translate analysis into actionable recommendations.
• Business acumen to connect financial insights to strategy and value realization.
• Ability to influence senior-level decision-making on funding and prioritization.
• Critical thinking when evaluating cost drivers and business cases.
• Strong stakeholder management across Finance, Delivery, and executive teams.
• Translate complex data into concise business impacts (cost, value, risk, timeline).
• Storytelling for executive audiences; craft concise narratives.

Responsibilities

• Develop, run, and maintain capacity and headcount planning models across teams and portfolios.
• Analyze vendor utilization, throughput, and dependency risk related to delivery concentration.
• Identify capacity constraints and misalignments between forecasts and supply.
• Support scenario planning for scaling, rebalancing work, or reprioritizing initiatives.
• Partner with Finance and Delivery leadership on trade-offs, including make/buy and vendor mix.
• Maintain forward-looking views of capacity risk tied to roadmap milestones.
• Translate capacity and resource data into executive-ready insights for governance.
