Job summary

First Tech Federal Credit Union is seeking a Staff Talent Management & Workforce Planning Specialist in Hillsboro, OR. The role drives enterprise workforce planning, identifies critical roles, and develops capability and gap analyses to enable growth and succession readiness.

As a trusted advisor, you will design and enhance talent strategies, partnering with leaders to address engagement, retention, and organizational effectiveness, while guiding complex initiatives with measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in workforce planning, talent strategy, and headcount planning.
• Experience translating business strategy into workforce and talent implications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to synthesize data into insights.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with practical execution and drive high-impact priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support enterprise workforce planning activities, including demand forecasting, supply analysis, and headcount planning aligned to business strategy.
• Translate business priorities into actionable workforce implications, including required roles, skills, and capacity needs.
• Conduct workforce and capability analyses to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities; translate findings into clear priorities and recommendations.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate talent management programs and practices for leadership readiness and organizational capability.
• Collaborate with leaders to assess workforce trends and recommend solutions aligned with objectives.
