Job summary

First Tech Federal Credit Union seeks a Business Analyst for Capacity and Workforce Planning to proactively manage enterprise capacity and headcount against roadmap demand across portfolios, teams, and vendors. This role provides forward-looking insights to help leadership balance scale, prioritization, and delivery risk.

You will partner with Finance and Delivery leadership to ensure workforce decisions are data-driven, transparent, and aligned to strategic commitments.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and data modeling expertise with resource data and budget models.
• Ability to identify bottlenecks, costs, and trade-offs and articulate them clearly.
• Experience building dashboards and management reports for senior leadership.
• Experience partnering with Finance and Delivery leadership on planning and forecasting.
• Excellent communication and business acumen linking finance to strategy.

Responsibilities

• Develop, run, and maintain capacity and headcount planning models across teams and portfolios.
• Analyze vendor utilization, throughput, and risk related to delivery concentration.
• Identify capacity constraints and misalignments between demand forecasts and supply.
• Support scenario planning for scaling, rebalancing, or reprioritizing initiatives.
• Partner with Finance and Delivery leadership on make/buy, vendor mix, and timing impacts.
• Maintain forward-looking views of capacity risk tied to roadmap commitments.
• Translate data into clear executive-ready insights for governance and investments.
