Randstad USA is seeking a Capacity & Logistics Specialist to manage daily load execution, secure carrier capacity, and negotiate competitive freight rates. The role emphasizes profitability and strong relationships with motor carriers in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on freight brokerage experience, familiarity with major load boards, and a solid understanding of US geography and truckload operations. Strong Excel and data reporting skills are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in transportation/logistics, 3–5 years preferred.
• Freight brokerage experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of truckload operations and US geography helpful.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily loads in designated territory, procuring capacity and pricing.
• Build and maintain strong motor carrier relationships for reliable capacity.
• Collaborate with Account Managers to tailor transportation solutions.
• Monitor carrier KPIs and delivery expectations; adjust as needed.
• Develop corrective action plans when carrier performance drops.
• Coordinate with internal teams to expand the carrier portfolio.
• Ensure tracking and tracing standards are applied across shipments.
