Job summary

Intel is seeking a Strategic/Development Industrial Engineer to design and implement solutions enhancing manufacturing efficiency and long-term capacity planning. You will develop production models, analyze complex data, and optimize layouts to drive cost reductions and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience, or Master's with 3+ years, or PhD in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years' experience in foundry manufacturing systems design, supply chain, capacity planning, or operations research.
• 1+ years of experience with statistical analysis tools.
• 1+ years' experience with analytics and data modeling capabilities using Excel.
• 1+ years' experience with project management; managing multiple priorities in fast-paced manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute space, capacity, and capital strategies for APTM WPM factories balancing near-term execution and long-range planning through scenario-based tradeoffs.
• Model WPM capacity across manufacturing segments using demand forecasts, tool roadmaps, and customer scenarios; assess demand-capacity tradeoffs to inform factory options.
• Perform SnOP demand and capacity analysis; evaluate gaps and responses; translate insights into executive-ready recommendations on capacity actions, timing, and tradeoffs.
• Analyze tradeoffs between space, capacity, throughput, and CapEx to optimize factory economics and ROIC; frame timing and risk implications.
• Integrate capacity strategies across APTM, Technology Development, Manufacturing, and Finance to ensure alignment and timely decisions.
• Own and develop new planning or modeling capability within the organization, driving maturity and adoption.
