Job summary

Intel Foundry's Factory Capacity Optimization team seeks a Strategic/Development Industrial Engineer to design and implement capacity models and optimization plans. You will drive long-term planning, analyze data, and communicate insights to executives, enabling scalable manufacturing improvements.

The role blends analytics with operations research, requiring collaboration across TD, Manufacturing, Finance, and Sourcing to deliver high-impact results in a hybrid-work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or similar and 4+ years of experience.
• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or similar and 3+ years of experience.
• PhD in Industrial Engineering or similar may substitute experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop space, capacity, and capital strategies for manufacturing factories.
• Model capacity across manufacturing segments with demand forecasts and tool roadmaps.
• Conduct SnOP demand and capacity analysis and translate insights into executive recommendations.
• Analyze tradeoffs between space, capacity, throughput and CapEx to optimize economics.
• Coordinate capacity strategies across multiple organizations to ensure alignment.
