Job summary

Intel Foundry's Factory Capacity Optimization (FCO) Network Design team seeks a Strategic/Development Industrial Engineer to design and implement space, capacity, and capital strategies for APTM Wafer Packaging Manufacturing. You will model capacity, forecast demand, and translate findings into actions for executives.

You will perform SnOP analyses, evaluate tradeoffs, and collaborate across manufacturing, TD, finance, and sourcing to enable scalable, cost-efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or similar degree and 4 + years of experience.
• 2+ years' experience in Foundry manufacturing systems design, supply chain, capacity planning, or operations research.
• 1+ years of experience with statistical analysis tools.
• 1+ years of experience with analytics and data modeling capabilities using Excel.
• 1+ years' experience with project management; experience managing multiple priorities in fast-paced manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute space, capacity, and capital strategies for APTM WPM factories to balance near-term execution and long-range planning.
• Model WPM capacity across manufacturing segments, incorporating demand forecasts, tool roadmaps, and customer scenarios.
• Perform SnOP demand and capacity analysis evaluating gaps, constraints, and responses and translate insights into executive-ready recommendations.
• Analyze tradeoffs between space, capacity, throughput, and CapEx to optimize factory economics and ROIC.
• Integrate capacity strategies across APTM, Technology Development, Foundry Business Group, and Finance for alignment.
• Collect, benchmark, and synthesize data to develop structured insights for senior leadership.
• Own and develop new planning or modeling capability within the organization.
• Communicate clearly under tight timelines and high ambiguity to influence outcomes.
