Job summary

Intel Corporation is seeking an experienced Strategic/Development Industrial Engineer to design and implement capacity planning, space optimization, and cost-reduction strategies across Advanced Packaging Technology Manufacturing (APTM) facilities in the US. You will model demand, forecast needs, and advise executives on capital timing and tradeoffs.

The role sits in the Factory Capacity Optimization (FCO) network and requires collaboration across TD, Manufacturing, Finance, and other groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or similar plus 4+ years of experience.
• 2+ years' experience in foundry manufacturing systems design, supply chain, capacity planning, or operations research.
• 1+ years of experience with statistical analysis tools.
• 1+ years of experience with analytics and data modeling using Excel.
• 1+ years' experience with project management; managing multiple priorities in fast-paced manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop space, capacity, and capital strategies for APTM WPM factories balancing near term execution and long range planning.
• Model WPM capacity across manufacturing segments with demand forecasts and tool roadmaps.
• Perform SnOP demand and capacity analyses and translate insights into executive recommendations.
• Analyze tradeoffs between space, capacity, throughput, and CapEx to optimize factory economics.
• Integrate capacity strategies across multiple Intel groups to ensure alignment and timing.
• Collect and synthesize data to develop structured insights for senior leadership.
• Own and develop new planning or modeling capability and drive adoption.
