Job summary

UCAN Chicago is seeking a Capacity Building Training Manager to lead strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of all training initiatives within the GASC Capacity Building Network. This role ensures curricula development, SME coordination, delivery, evaluation, and documentation align with UCAN’s mission and grant requirements.

The Training Manager will supervise the Training Coordinator, oversee training operations, maintain records, track KPIs, and collaborate with partners to embed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Work, Psychology, Human Resources, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 5–10 years of experience in program management, nonprofit leadership, community development, or violence prevention.
• Experience supervising and leading teams.
• Experience creating and developing training curriculum preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee training strategy, delivery, and evaluation across the GASC Capacity Building Network.
• Supervise the Training Coordinator and manage staff development.
• Develop and implement training curriculum with SMEs.
• Ensure compliance with grant requirements and program standards.
• Monitor KPIs and maintain training records in Evolv or similar systems.
