Job summary

NYC Public Schools is seeking a Capacity Building Strategy Manager to design and coordinate system-wide capacity building across early childhood programs, schools, and CBOs. You will synthesize data, identify trends, develop sustainable initiatives, and work closely with the Director of Capacity Building to advance equitable access to high-quality early childhood education.

The role reports to the Director of Capacity Building and includes managing a Capacity Building Specialist, with emphasis

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in education or related field with at least 18 months in executive/managerial capacity in education administration
• Bachelor’s degree with four years of progressively responsible professional experience, 18 months in executive/managerial capacity
• High school diploma or equivalent with six years of progressive professional experience, 18 months in executive/managerial capacity
• Education/experience equivalent to the above permutations as described in the job posting

Responsibilities

• Strategic planning and system alignment across instructional, leadership, relational, and organizational domains.
• Lead data analysis, needs assessments, and dashboards to inform decisions.
• Coordinate cross-functional capacity building initiatives with instructional coordinators, social workers, and DECE teams.
• Facilitate continuous improvement cycles and contribute to annual impact reports
