Job summary

Black Diamond Advanced Technology (BDATech) in Chandler, AZ seeks a Buyer/Purchasing Specialist to review requisitions, coordinate purchasing with manufacturing, planning and engineering, and manage RFQs and change orders. This role ensures data integrity in procurement systems and supports cost-effective inventory management.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in purchasing with a background in military/aerospace electronics and a BA/BS in business or related field.

Qualifications

• 3+ years?experience in purchasing; Military and Aerospace Electronics experience a plus or equivalent education and experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, or closely related program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Increases effectiveness and efficiency of Materials Management and related areas through improvements and cross-functional coordination.
• Manages sourcing activities to identify and establish relationships with suppliers.
• Develop key supplier relationships to support collaborative initiatives.
• Assist in creating, developing and implementing supply chain strategies for competitive costs and supplier execution excellence.
• Manages issuance of purchase orders with correct specifications, prices, and terms.
• Maintain and report current shortages and due dates.
• Capture and report supply chain metrics.
• Procure material to meet on-time requirements and avoid delays.
