Job summary

Custom Control Sensors, LLC is seeking a Buyer in Phoenix, AZ to manage direct material purchasing and supplier performance in a fast-moving manufacturing environment. You will convert production demand signals into PO placements, monitor lead times, and ensure on-time delivery at negotiated prices.

Requires 3+ years in manufacturing purchasing, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, and solid knowledge of MRP systems. Familiarity with AS9100/ISO9001 is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years purchasing in manufacturing
• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and revisions
• Working knowledge of AS9100/ISO 9001 purchasing requirements preferred

Responsibilities

• Convert MRP requirements into purchase orders with correct part, revision, quantity, price, and date
• Maintain accurate order data in the MRP system and track status
• Monitor open orders, reschedule, cancel, and de-expedite as needed
• Identify alternate sources and negotiate terms to meet customer commitments
• Support supplier qualification and corrective actions with Quality and Engineering
