Job summary

RBC Bearings is seeking an onsite Materials Planner to determine MPS requirements, assign production by capacity and delivery time, and run MRP for the division. You will create shop and transfer orders, manage POs for outside services, and coordinate inventory control aligned with MRP requirements.

Role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 2 years’ experience, strong analytical skills, and excellent planning and stakeholder collaboration. This is an onsite M-F day shift position in New Jersey.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with at least 2 years of related experience in planning or procurement.
• Onsite M-F Day shift position.
• Experience in inventory control and MRP/ERP systems preferred.
• Ability to analyze complex problems and negotiate solutions with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong planning, time management and organizational skills; proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Initiate purchase orders for parts and services.
• Determine requirements for MPS for product line.
• Assign production based on capacity and delivery time.
• Run MRP for division product and manage shop/transfer orders.
• Enter and modify POs for outside services & purchased parts.
• Coordinate planning, scheduling and inventory control based on MRP requirements.
• Coordinate quality and engineering changes with suppliers.
• Monitor and maintain supplier deliveries; manage cycle counts.
