Job summary

Race Winning Brands is seeking a Buyer/Planner in New Jersey to execute MRO items, manage vendor inventory, and ensure on-time delivery. You will monitor supplier performance and drive improvements to support supply chain reliability.

The role requires a related Bachelor's degree, APICS/ASCM certification (preferred), and 2+ years in production or material planning with MRP/ERP experience. Proficiency in MS Excel and Power BI is a plus, with a focus on cross-functional collaboration to optimize

2+ years in production or material planning and purchasing in manufacturing; hands-on MRP, inventory planning and scheduling.

Responsibilities

Run and review MRP daily for assigned codes and product lines; release/reschedule/expedite or cancel POs and WOs.
Develop and maintain material and production plans balancing demand, capacity, lead times and inventory targets.
Use sales history, forecasts, open orders and demand trends to plan requirements and adjust plans as needed.
Establish item master planning parameters for buy, make, and supply items including lead times and safety stock.
Create, release, and maintain WOs to coordinate production.
Plan and prioritize production schedules to maximize schedule attainment and minimize delays.
Identify capacity constraints and propose solutions for manpower and materials.
Perform shortage analysis and drive recovery plans with production, warehouse, and suppliers.
Control inventory to meet turns and E&O reduction targets.
Plan supplier releases and blanket orders based on forecasts and inventory positions.
Coordinate inventory transfers between locations to support demand at other sites.
Coordinate ECNs with cross-functional teams for phase-in/out planning.
Purchase packaging and MRO items in the ERP system to support the plan.
