Job summary

Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems in Moorestown, NJ seeks a detail-oriented Material Planner to manage MRP transactions and optimize material flow. You will coordinate with manufacturing, procurement, and engineering to maintain schedule integrity and inventory control.

The role requires 2+ years in production planning or logistics, strong ERP/MRP proficiency, and Lean/CI experience. US citizenship is required for government clearance.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in a related field as listed in the ad.
• 2-4 years of experience in digital organization, production planning, shop-floor control, scheduling or logistics.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics) and creating master production schedules.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret production data and inventory control.
• Knowledge of Lean/continuous-improvement methodologies (5S, Kaizen, VSM).
• Excellent written and verbal communication for cross-functional coordination.
• Intermediate Excel with pivot, VLOOKUP, and basic macro for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Performs manufacturing activities within various functions.
• Maintains production systems integrity to optimize inventory and reduce cost.
• Expedites and optimizes material flow to meet customer requirements.
• Coordinates with Operations Management to control schedules and capacity.
• Collaborates with Procurement and Supply Chain to align time-phased procurement plans.
• Maintains MRP parameters and coordinates BOM changes with Engineering.
