Job summary

Humanscale in New Jersey is seeking a Hands-on Material Planner to coordinate movements of raw materials, in-process materials and packaging to meet the right time, quantity, place and inventory levels. You’ll work cross-functionally with production scheduling, finance, logistics and operations to achieve on-time shipments and inventory objectives.

The role requires 4–5 years of manufacturing supply chain experience, strong Excel skills, and hands-on knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (INFOR

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent related experience considered.
4–5 years in supply chain management in a manufacturing environment.
Strong Excel skills and knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (INFOR preferred).
Analytical, communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Manage materials processes to support timely operations and the production schedule.
Set inventory targets and control levels for ordering processes.
Plan replenishments using MRP reports.
Establish supplier production priorities using forecasts and orders.
Review material forecasts and engineering changes affecting planning.
Develop supplier relationships and drive cost/process improvements.
Collaborate cross-functionally to improve cost, quality and delivery.
Support continuous improvement in supply chain disciplines.
Handle special projects to meet unit goals.
