Job summary

Humanscale in New Jersey is seeking a Hands-on Material Planner to coordinate movements of raw materials, in-process materials and packaging to meet the right time, quantity, place and inventory levels. You’ll work cross-functionally with production scheduling, finance, logistics and operations to achieve on-time shipments and inventory objectives.

The role requires 4–5 years of manufacturing supply chain experience, strong Excel skills, and hands-on knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (INFOR

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent related experience considered.
• 4–5 years in supply chain management in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong Excel skills and knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (INFOR preferred).
• Analytical, communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage materials processes to support timely operations and the production schedule.
• Set inventory targets and control levels for ordering processes.
• Plan replenishments using MRP reports.
• Establish supplier production priorities using forecasts and orders.
• Review material forecasts and engineering changes affecting planning.
• Develop supplier relationships and drive cost/process improvements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve cost, quality and delivery.
• Support continuous improvement in supply chain disciplines.
• Handle special projects to meet unit goals.
