Job summary

nVenia, part of the Duravant family, is seeking a Buyer in Wood Dale, IL to manage purchasing for production and aftermarket needs. The role involves issuing POs, following up with suppliers, expediting orders, and resolving invoicing issues to support on-time delivery and inventory accuracy.

Qualified candidates typically hold an Associate or bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of purchasing experience in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are required.
• Experience with supplier performance monitoring is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase orders and confirmations.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
• Confirm pricing and expedite orders as needed.
• Resolve invoicing issues and past-due PO items.
• Communicate schedule changes to Operations and Sales.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including planning and warehouse.
