Responsibilities include quoting, placing orders, returns to suppliers, confirming orders, expediting delivery and communicating schedule changes to operations and sales. **ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES** • Process orders including sending PO’s and confirmations. • Follow up with suppliers. • Confirm pricing. • Expedite orders. • Reconciling invoicing issues. • Perform timely resolution of past due purchase orders to meet departmental goals. • Assist with monitoring, tracking, and providing feedback on supplier’s performance, price, delivery, quality, and responsiveness. • Quickly and efficiently process supplier quality returns. • Ensure prompt communication of schedule changes throughout Operations, Sales and Lifecycle Services. • Work with cross functional teams including shipping, stockroom, accounting, production, and planning. • Communicate Bill of Material discrepancies to Engineering. • Report inventory discrepancies to Warehouse Manager. • Projects and other responsibilities as directed by manager.## Qualifications**POSITION REQUIREMENTS** • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred. • Minimum 2 years purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.| || --- || **PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS** || Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk or hear; uses hands to finger, handle, or touch objects or controls.
