Job summary

nVenia, part of the Duravant family, is a leading manufacturer of automated packaging equipment. We seek a Manufacturing Engineer to support a high mix, low volume engineered-to-order business.

You will drive ERP (Epicor) excellence, design-for-manufacturability, and data‑driven decision making to improve production efficiency and product cost structure. This role partners with product management, engineering and operations in Wood Dale, IL.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a high mix, low volume environment.
• Experience with ERP systems (Epicor strongly preferred).
• Demonstrated expertise in DFM and product cost optimization.
• Strong analytical skills (Excel, data modeling, cost analysis) and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Drive ERP & systems excellence (Epicor preferred), including EOQ, routings, and structure.
• Develop scalable processes for engineered-to-order and configurable products; optimize throughput.
• Lead DFM initiatives with design engineering to reduce cost, simplify fabrication and improve margins.
• Analyze manufacturing performance and build models to support quoting, capacity planning, and process improvement.
