Teachers Federal Credit Union is seeking a Business Optimization Manager to analyze credit union processes and operations, driving efficiency, member experience, and profitability through data-driven improvements.

The role leads business transformation initiatives, collaborates with cross-functional teams, and ensures projects align with organizational goals and budgets. Strong Agile experience is preferred, with a track record in financial services.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience in the related area, preferably in a credit union or financial services environment.
• Minimum five years of experience leading business transformation programs, process improvement initiatives, or project portfolios in a financial services environment; Agile, or related program/project management certification preferred.
• Experience with data-driven analysis to identify opportunities for efficiency and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Conducts a thorough analysis of processes, systems, and operations to identify efficiency and profitability opportunities.
• Develops and maintains a business optimization initiative portfolio with prioritized projects.
• Collaborates with the MX Team to analyze member experience data and implement improvements.
• Oversees workflow analyses and creates process maps to illustrate improvements.
• Partners with department leaders to collect input and create action plans.
• Develops tools to collect data, KPI tracking, and data-driven insights.
• Produces documentation and training to support adoption of new processes.
• Monitors progress, reports results to stakeholders, and suggests further optimization.
• Keeps current with industry trends in business optimization and service delivery.
• Ensures milestones align with budgets.
• Performs additional duties as needed.
