Job summary

Nominal is seeking an operator to scale our Business Operations function during high growth. You will influence strategic planning, performance management, and partnerships while working across finance, corporate development, and investor relations.

The role touches many functions and requires rapid execution with a low-ego, high-action mindset. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in internal strategy, operations, or finance, strong analytics, and proven ability to drive buy-in without relying on

Qualifications

• Experience in internal strategy, operations & finance roles or fast-paced environments.
• Ability to work across functions and switch contexts easily.
• High emotional intelligence and stakeholder buy-in without heavy hierarchy.
• Strong quantitative mindset and data-driven decision making.
• End-to-end ownership from issue framing to resolution.
• Highly organized with attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to do whatever is needed to accelerate the pace.

Responsibilities

• Run the business: translate strategy into operational tactics across the org.
• Conduct FP&A, budgeting and capital allocation activities.
• Drive corporate development: fundraising, investor relations, M&A & partnerships.
• Build scalable go-to-market infra: pricing, packaging, campaigns & collateral.
• Support new market entry: research products/verticals/geographies & value prop.
• Develop metrics & automated insights for leadership decision making.
• Improve organizational processes and cross-functional alignment.
• Contribute across Talent, compliance & communications as needed.
