Job summary

Nominal is seeking a versatile Business Operations Generalist to own and scale the Operations function as the company grows, with exposure across planning, performance management, corporate development, investor relations, partnerships, and more.

You’ll touch nearly every part of the business, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and help build scalable processes across multiple markets in New York, Los Angeles, and Austin.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in internal strategy, operations, and finance roles (ideally management consulting or related fast-paced environments).
• Comfort operating across functions and switching contexts between different types of work.
• High EQ and ability to work with a variety of personalities, functions, and seniority levels.
• Strong analytical skills with a quantitative mindset.
• Problem solver with end-to-end ownership from framing to resolution.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Drive corporate development: fundraising, investor relations, M&A, and partnerships.
• Conduct financial planning and analysis: FP&A, budgeting, and investment planning.
• Build scalable go-to-market infrastructure: marketing, sales collateral, demos, documentation, pricing, contracts; systematize sales processes as we grow.
• Support new market entrance: research new products, verticals, or geographies; articulate value propositions and manage logistics.
• Strengthen operations: establish processes and culture as the team scales; align across the business.
• Pitch in wherever needed: talent, compliance, communications; accelerate pace and raise quality.
