Job summary

Standard Textile, Cincinnati, OH, is seeking a senior Business Operations & Transformation Lead to partner across rebate, contract administration, pricing support, data governance, and analytics. You will simplify processes, strengthen controls, and scale operations while leading AI and automation initiatives.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in commercial operations with strong financial acumen, systems thinking, and experience in end-to-end process redesign.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in business operations or related analytics roles.
• Hands-on experience in rebate, pricing support, deal desk, or data governance.
• Strong financial and business acumen with ability to translate data into insights.
• Strong systems thinking to connect processes, data, systems, and teams.
• Experience redesigning end-to-end processes to reduce manual work.
• Experience designing or implementing automation/AI tools to streamline processes.
• Experience standardizing reporting and expanding self-service analytics.
• Excel and BI tools proficiency; Salesforce and ERP experience preferred.
• Experience developing SOPs, playbooks, and knowledge resources.
• Leading cross-functional initiatives end-to-end across multiple functions.
• Ability to influence across teams without direct authority.
• Willingness to work inside current workflows to build credibility before recommending change.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate workflows across Business Operations and identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, automate, reassign, or eliminate work.
• Improve end-to-end processes, handoffs, decision rights, service levels, and controls.
• Identify recurring requests that can move to self-service, automation, CSS, or other resources.
• Develop SOPs, playbooks, knowledge resources, and scalable operating processes.
• Lead AI, automation, and process‑improvement initiatives from concept through implementation.
• Help reduce the volume of reactive work reaching the Business Operations team.
• Review recurring reports and analytical requests for duplication, inconsistency, and manual effort.
• Standardize reporting methodologies and improve sources of truth.
• Expand self‑service reporting and reduce repetitive spreadsheet production.
• Connect information across systems to provide more complete business insights.
• Partner with Finance, Data/IT, Sales Operations, and business leaders to improve reporting quality and usability.
• Serve as a senior thought partner across capabilities, including pricing and deal desk.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives that improve the overall process across Sales, Finance, Operations, and Technology.
• Influence change across teams without direct authority.
• Identify gaps, duplication, unclear ownership, and breakdowns between functions.
