Job summary

Kids for the Future seeks a Business Development Specialist to support workforce development, employer engagement, marketing, outreach, and training activities within the Workforce & Business Development Program.

The role connects businesses to resources, supports ongoing OMJ operations, and builds relationships with employers, partners, and workforce organizations in Pike County and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Business, Marketing, Human Resources, Workforce Development, or a related field.
• Minimum two years of experience in an office setting, with marketing, outreach, or related activity.
• Proficiency with Excel and digital publishing tools; ability to develop outreach materials.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver business-related events and outreach activities, including job fairs and workshops.
• Manage program communications, newsletters, and social media accounts.
• Track data on employer contacts and program outcomes for reporting.
