Job summary

Workforce Services Unlimited, Inc.—OhioMeansJobs-Highland County is seeking a Youth Career and Business Outreach Specialist to coordinate year-round youth work experiences and assist with payroll while ensuring compliance with Ohio Minor Labor Laws. The role includes mentoring youth, delivering job-readiness activities, and partnering with local employers to create meaningful work-sites.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; associate degree with relevant experience considered.
• Experience working with youth is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver CCMEP elements and other youth services as part of the program.
• Provide case management, guidance and referrals to community resources.
• Collaborate with the team to assess participant needs and tailor programs.
• Market the program to youth, resources, and area employers.
• Place youth at worksites and monitor compliance with minor labor laws.
