Job summary

Vedder Price P.C. in Chicago seeks a Business Development Manager to design and rollout training and coaching for attorneys across practice groups. You will build systematic, measurable approaches to expand professional networks and grow practices.

You will create group workshops, coach lawyers on pitches, set goals, and target prospective clients to drive cross-selling and client expansion with senior leadership and marketing. A strong track record in professional services is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 10 years of business development or related experience in professional services.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with leadership to rollout BD training and coaching initiatives.
• Develop metrics to measure ROI and stakeholder engagement.
• Design coaching programs for groups and one-on-one coaching with attorneys.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and respond to RFPs.
• Lead strategies to expand attorney business development and client networks.
