Job summary

Vedder Price P.C. in Chicago seeks a Marketing & Client Development Coordinator to support marketing and business development across all practice groups.

You will draft proposals, update attorney bios and collateral, and help maintain pitches and client lists. The role requires strong communication, the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, and collaboration with the Marketing & Client Development team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field preferred.
• Minimum of two years of marketing, business development or proposal experience, preferably in a professional services company or law firm.
• Position also requires the ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Drafts and produces marketing proposals and RFP responses using a mix of the proposal repository and new content development, final document preparation and follow-up
• Edits, maintains and updates practice-specific pages of the firm website, as well as marketing collateral and attorney bios; drafts, reviews and contributes to key messaging and content of brochures and other collateral materials
• Maintains current and accurate case lists, descriptions, case studies and client lists for use in pitches, proposals, RFPs, including league table rankings as necessary
• Provides research support for various initiatives utilizing research subscriptions and databases. Prepares submissions to legal directories such as Chambers and Legal 500
• Drafts internal and external communications and assists with posting on our website and through our social media channels as needed
• Utilizes firm resources to complete administrative tasks
• Supports the events team with seminars and other event-related activities, including materials preparation, set up and onsite support as needed
• Assists with special projects as assigned
