An established industry player is seeking a Strategic Business Development Manager to drive the specification and adoption of their innovative building automation solutions within the education sector. This role requires a proactive individual with a proven track record in customer success and business development. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with key stakeholders and educating them on the benefits of Honeywell's technologies. As a Strategic Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive Honeywell specification and adoption for our complete building automation solutions within the education vertical. This individual needs to be a true hunter capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with key influencers and stakeholders at Architect and Engineers (A&E), Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC), and executive levels of major end users. You will serve as a liaison with engineering, general contracting, and other project influencers to understand project scope and help educate to ensure all applicable Honeywell products are included in the specification, meeting and exceeding customer requirements.
You will work remotely when not traveling 50-60% of the time, and will have a territory covering the following states: Oregon, Washington, California, Montana, Utah, New Mexico, Nevada, Colorado, Wyoming, and Idaho. The ideal candidate should reside within one of these states.

COMPENSATION
The annual base salary range varies by location, typically between $100,000 and $130,000, with specific ranges for California, New York, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Washington, and major metro areas. This is a general guideline; actual offers consider experience, responsibilities, skills, and market factors. This position is eligible for an incentive plan.
