Strategic Business Development Manager - Building Automation Solutions - Education - Remote

Join Honeywell as a Strategic Business Development Manager to develop and implement strategies for driving specification and adoption of building automation solutions in the education sector. This role requires building strong relationships with key stakeholders such as Architects & Engineers (A&E), Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC), and end users at the executive level. You will act as a liaison to understand project scopes and educate clients to include Honeywell products in their specifications.

This remote position involves 50-60% travel within a territory covering Oregon, Washington, California, Montana, Utah, New Mexico, Nevada, Colorado, Wyoming, and Idaho. Candidates should reside within one of these states.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop relationships with stakeholders by educating and consulting to increase consideration and adoption of Honeywell solutions.
  2. Establish and maintain C-level relationships within key end users, positioning yourself as a trusted partner.
  3. Participate in trade associations to promote awareness of Honeywell technologies.
  4. Sponsor and present educational sessions as a subject matter expert.
  5. Collaborate with other Honeywell divisions to support joint efforts across vertical markets.
Compensation and Benefits

Minimum Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in customer success, account management, or business development.
  • Experience with building automation solutions.
