An established industry player is seeking a Strategic Business Development Manager to lead initiatives in the education sector. This role involves developing relationships with key stakeholders, educating them on cutting-edge building automation solutions, and acting as a trusted partner for life safety solutions. As a Strategic Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive Honeywell specification and adoption for our complete building automation solutions within the education vertical. This individual needs to be a true hunter capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with key influencers and stakeholders at Architects and Engineers (A&E), Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC), and executive levels of major end users. You will act as a liaison with engineering, general contracting, and other project influencers to understand project scope and help educate to ensure all applicable Honeywell products are included in the specifications, meeting and exceeding customer requirements.
You will work remotely when not traveling 50-60% of the time, with a territory covering the following states: Oregon, Washington, California, Montana, Utah, New Mexico, Nevada, Colorado, Wyoming, and Idaho. Ideally, candidates should reside within one of these states.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
COMPENSATION
The annual base salary range varies by location: in California, New York (excluding major metro areas), Colorado, Connecticut, and Hawaii, it is $100k-$130k. In Washington and most major metro areas in New York & California, the range is also $100k-$130k. Salary offers are based on multiple factors including responsibilities, experience, education, skills, and market conditions.
This position is eligible for an incentive plan.
