Job summary

MAPEI Corporation is seeking a Business Development Manager supporting VINAVIL. This role blends technical sales and strategic marketing to grow key accounts and distributor partnerships across paints, coatings, adhesives, textiles, and construction industries.

You will identify customer needs, propose product solutions, negotiate pricing, and manage the sales pipeline from project identification to closing deals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of four years of related experience in adhesives, paints, coatings, or related industries.
• Technical formulation knowledge through R&D, Technical Service, or Technical Marketing; coatings experience preferred.
• Strong sales, relationship-building, presentation, and negotiation skills; translate customer needs into product solutions.
• Analyze market trends and competitive activity; develop business plans; manage projects through completion.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer needs, recommend product solutions, and negotiate pricing to grow sales with key accounts and distributors.
• Build relationships across customer R&D, Operations, Procurement, Sales, and Marketing teams; coordinate VINAVIL and MAPEI account activities.
• Manage the sales pipeline from identifying projects and coordinating samples through collecting feedback, tracking progress, and closing deals.
• Support distributors through product training and customer presentations; partner with Product Management on technical needs.
• Develop and implement market plans; monitor competitors; identify opportunities for product improvements and innovation; represent VINAVIL at trade association meetings.
