Job summary

MAPEI Inc. is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth in coatings and adhesives across the United States, supporting VINAVIL.

The role blends technical sales and strategic marketing to expand key accounts and distributor partnerships. You will identify product solutions, develop new business opportunities, and translate market insights into actionable plans, collaborating with R&D, operations, procurement, and sales teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; chemistry or related science degree preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Chemistry, or related field preferred.
• Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer needs, recommend product solutions, and negotiate pricing to grow sales.
• Build relationships across R&D, Operations, Procurement, Sales, and Marketing teams.
• Manage the sales pipeline from identifying projects and coordinating samples through collecting feedback, tracking progress, and closing deals.
• Support distributors through product training and customer presentations, partnering with Product Management on technical needs.
• Develop and implement market plans, monitor competitors, and identify opportunities for product improvements and innovation.
