Job summary

Truist is seeking an experienced Business Banking professional to drive client relationships and revenue within the Triangle area. This in-office role emphasizes life-cycle client conversations, delivering Truist solutions, and collaborating with Relationship Management teams.

The role requires 4+ years in business/commercial banking sales, a Bachelor’s degree, and strong communication and negotiation skills. In-office with potential cross-triangle locations, benefits available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent financial services education or work experience.
• Four or more years of Business or Commercial Banking sales experience with proven results.
• Knowledge of business banking products, lending, cash cycle and sales processes.
• Strong relationship-building and negotiation with clients, management and partners.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications including Microsoft Office and virtual connectivity software.
• Competencies: business acumen, interpersonal savvy, prioritization, problem solving.

• Handle complex transactions with multi-layered structures and treasury needs.
• Manage deposit, loan and fee-based services through the opportunity pipeline.
• Maintain in-depth understanding of Truist capabilities and market trends.
• Contribute as a performer within the Business Connect Squad and mentor teammates.
• Adapt quickly to technology enhancements and advise on digital solutions.
• Escalate concerns promptly and comply with risk and credit requirements.
• Aim to meet or exceed designated performance metrics.
