CAREERXCHANGE® is seeking an experienced Business Banker in Hialeah, FL to develop and manage relationships with small and middle-market business clients. The role emphasizes building a robust book of business, cross-selling banking products, and driving growth with precision and regulatory compliance.

You will identify opportunities through networking, manage client relationships, and collaborate with credit and operations teams to fulfill loan requests and treasury needs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of business banking, commercial banking, or relationship management experience.
• Proven success in business development and client acquisition.
• Existing book of business or established business network preferred.
• Experience with commercial and/or small business lending.
• Strong understanding of business banking products and financial solutions.
• Excellent sales, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to independently develop new business and meet growth objectives.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow a portfolio of business banking clients.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and community involvement.
• Build strong, long-term relationships with business owners and decision-makers.
• Assess clients’ financial needs and recommend appropriate banking products and services.
• Generate deposits, loans, treasury management, and other business banking solutions.
• Work closely with credit and operational teams to support loan requests and client needs.
• Conduct regular client meetings and proactively identify opportunities for relationship expansion.
• Maintain a strong pipeline of prospective business clients.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
