Job summary

First Interstate Bank is seeking a Business Analyst to partner with leaders, Enterprise Architecture, and technology teams to analyze needs, document requirements, and identify process improvements. You will gather and manage requirements, translate them into functional specs, and create artifacts to support project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 4-6 years of business analysis, project delivery, operations, banking, technology, or related experience required.
• Financial services experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes business needs, documents requirements, and identifies process improvement opportunities.
• Translates business needs into functional requirements and user stories.
• Creates BRDs, process flows, acceptance criteria, and project artifacts.
• Maintains RTM throughout the project lifecycle and ensures traceability from design to implementation.
• Partners with stakeholders to prioritize requirements and align solutions with business objectives.
• Supports QA and testing activities with requirements clarification and defect resolution.
• Communicates risks, dependencies, and potential business impacts to teams.
