Job summary

First Interstate Bank is seeking a Business Analyst to independently partner with business leaders and technology teams to analyze needs, document requirements, and identify opportunities for process improvement. You will facilitate workshops, gather and validate requirements, and translate them into functional specs and user stories to support project delivery.

You will maintain RTM, prioritize requirements with stakeholders, and collaborate with QA to ensure testing aligns with business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required
• 4-6 years of business analysis, project delivery, operations, banking, technology, or related experience required
• Financial services experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Analyze business needs, document requirements, and identify process improvement opportunities.
• Lead requirements-gathering sessions and interviews with stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Maintain the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with QA and business stakeholders to support testing alignment and defect analysis.
