Job summary

First Interstate Bank is seeking a Corporate Development Senior Analyst to support the bank's corporate development function, building and maintaining financial models to evaluate strategic initiatives and M&A opportunities.

You will assist in competitive analysis, due diligence, and investor relations, presenting findings to senior management and contributing to strategic planning across business lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field required.
• Master's Degree in Business or related field preferred.
• 3-5 years related experience, training, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains financial models to evaluate potential strategic, M&A, or divestiture opportunities.
• Assists in the competitive intelligence process to understand industry trends and the competitive landscape and identify performance gaps.
• Assists in the development and execution of the bank's strategic plan, including segment and line of business strategies.
• Assists in the development and execution of new business opportunities.
• Assists with branch analytics framework, providing management with a comprehensive view of market performance and opportunities.
• Prepares presentations and reports for senior and executive management.
• Assists in certain investor relations functions including supporting development of guidance, investor deck presentation, and other support as requested.
• Assists in the due diligence activities.
• Assists with the development and preparation of reporting around key strategic initiatives.
• Provides guidance to less experienced staff and leads certain projects.
• Develops effective business relationships within the bank.
• Conducts comprehensive market, competitive, and product analyses to identify growth opportunities, assess emerging industry trends, evaluate competitive positioning, and support strategic decision-making across business lines
