Job summary

Airgas is hiring a Bulk Sales Support Specialist in Elk Grove Village, IL to help coordinate commercial, operational and financial tasks for our bulk gas business and ensure a strong customer experience across the Midwest region.

The role partners with sales, operations and project management, handling contracts, data from SAP, PROS and BW, and maintaining Salesforce, Google Drive and Power BI data access. Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in the energy/bulk gas sector preferred.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in SAP, Business Warehouse, PROS, and Salesforce.
• Strong knowledge of Google Docs/Sheets/Slides.
• Fundamental understanding of basic accounting and financial reporting.
• Ability to balance diverse priorities.
• Experience in project planning and management.

Responsibilities

• The Bulk Sales Support Specialist supports commercial, operational, financial, contractual and administrative aspects of bulk gas business.
• Acts as a connector among sales, operations and project management to deliver strong customer experience.
• Partners with Midwest Bulk Sales Specialists for orders, billing questions, and contract communications.
• Coordinates documents and databases including Salesforce, Bulk contract DB and Google Drive.
• Tracks installations, removals and projects to ensure proper billing.
• Participates in Project Review Meetings to support installations/removals.
• Maintains centralized data resources for service installation data and billing.
• Leverages data from SAP, PROS and BW to empower sales and operations.
• Maintains data accessibility via Salesforce, Google Drive and Power BI.
• Other duties as assigned.
