Job summary

Airgas Midwest bulk gas division seeks a Finance/Operations Analyst to support commercial, operational, financial, and contracting aspects of the bulk gas business. You will connect sales, operations, and project management for the Midwest region, coordinating with sales specialists and handling SAP, PROS, BW, Salesforce, and Google Drive data.

Responsibilities

• Support commercial, operational, financial, contractual, and general administrative aspects of the bulk gas business.
• Serve as a key connector among sales, operations, and project management teams for Midwest Region bulk gas customers and prospects.
• Partner with Midwest Bulk Sales Specialists to fulfill customer requests involving letters, billing questions, product usage data, Salesforce.com, and contract communications.
• Coordinate and maintain key documents and databases, including Salesforce.com, the Bulk contract database, and Google Drive.
• Track and support new installations, removals, and key projects with sales, operations, project management, Safety, and AMG distribution teams.
• Participate in Project Review Meetings to support installations and removals, Term Management, and Billing implementation.
• Develop and maintain a central resource for service installation data and paperwork, including first fill and upgrade information.
• Gather and leverage data from SAP, PROS, BW, and other Bulk Group sources.
• Maintain organization and accessibility of internal BI resources, including Salesforce.com, Google Drive, and Power BI.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 2+ years related experience in bulk and package gas or related energy industry appreciated
• Understanding of commercial operating and contracting principles and practices

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in SAP, Business Warehouse, PROS, and Salesforce welcomed
• Working knowledge of Google Suite products including Docs, Sheets, and Slides
• Fundamental understanding of basic accounting and financial reporting practices
• Ability to balance diverse priorities and workflow needs effectively
• Experience in project planning and management, including scope, timing, budget alignment, risk mitigation, quality, integration, procurement, and team communications
• Ability to access various Airgas and customer sites
• Frequent region travel and occasional overnight travel
• Access to reliable, appropriate transportation
• Requires use of a computer, telephone, and operation of a motor vehicle
