Job summary

Airgas is hiring a Bulk Sales Support Specialist to assist in the collaborative oversight of commercial, operational, financial, and contractual aspects of the bulk gas business. The role emphasizes organization, data gathering from ERP systems, and strong customer service across internal and external teams.

The position connects sales, operations, and project management to ensure accurate pricing, project costs, and timely billing for Midwest Bulk Gas customers and prospects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent business/finance management work experience welcome.
• 2+ years related experience in bulk and package gas or related energy industry appreciated.
• Understanding of commercial operating and contracting principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in platforms including SAP, Business Warehouse, PROs, and Salesforce welcomed.
• Working knowledge of the Google Suite of products including Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
• Fundamental understanding of basic accounting and financial reporting practices.
• Ability to balance diverse priorities and workflow needs effectively.
• Experience in project planning and management, including elements of scope, timing, budget alignment, risk mitigation, quality, integration, procurement, and team communications.

Responsibilities

• Supports collaboration across sales, operations, and project management to deliver exemplary customer experience for Midwest Bulk Gas customers and prospects.
• Partners with Midwest Bulk Sales Specialists to fulfill customer requests and initiatives, including billing questions and contract communications.
• Coordinates and maintains documents and commercial databases (Salesforce.com, Bulk contract database, Google Drive).
• Tracks and supports installations, removals, and key projects with cross-functional teams for accurate pricing and project costs.
• Participates in Project Review Meetings to support installations and billing implementations.
• Maintains a central resource for service installation data and paperwork for accurate billing and first fill dates.
• Gathers data from SAP, PROS, BW to support Sales, Operations, Finance, and Pricing teams.
• Maintains data accessibility from internal BI resources (Salesforce, Google Drive, Power BI).
• Other duties as assigned.
