Job summary

MacDonald-Miller Facility Solutions is seeking an Account Executive to sell building control systems to architects, MEP consultants, and contractors in the Portland market. You will develop retrofit proposals, write specs, prepare detailed estimates, and grow the customer base.

You will collaborate with internal teams to deliver solutions, nurture relationships, and drive profitable contracts while advancing your career with a respected mechanical contractor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven track record of selling, estimating, specifying, or installing building control systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the sales process from identifying opportunities through proposal development, negotiation, and contract award.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to customers.
• Develop and execute strategies to grow sales and profitability within the assigned market.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, architects, engineers, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Partner with estimating, engineering, project management, and field teams to ensure proposed solutions are deliverable.
