MacDonald-Miller Facility Solutions in Kennewick, WA, seeks an Account Executive to sell building control systems to architects, MEP consultants, and construction contractors in the Portland commercial market.

You will develop retrofit and bid proposals, write specifications, prepare detailed estimates, and create solutions that meet project requirements, helping grow the customer base and deliver value to clients.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
• 4+ years in building controls sales or hands-on field experience installing building controls in Plan & Spec and/or Retrofit markets.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and building automation/control systems.
• Experience developing proposals, estimates, specifications, or other sales materials for building controls projects.
• Proven ability to negotiate effectively, achieve targeted profit margins, and manage customer commitments.

Aufgaben

• Own the sales process from identifying opportunities through proposal development, negotiation, and contract award.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to both new and existing customers.
• Develop and execute strategies to grow sales and profitability within the assigned geographic or vertical market.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, architects, engineers, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Partner closely with estimating, engineering, project management, and field teams to ensure proposed solutions are both competitive and deliverable.
• Represent MacDonald-Miller professionally in the Portland commercial market and serve as a knowledgeable resource on building controls solutions.
