Job summary

Seattle University is seeking a Budget and Operations Manager to oversee budget analysis, planning, reporting, and grant budgeting for the Cornish College of the Arts, with a facilities liaison role for South Lake Union campus.

Reporting to the Dean, you will develop annual budgets, review salaries, coordinate course assignments, manage payroll and gift accounts, and ensure contract compliance across multiple budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field with 3+ years of budgeting/financial analysis experience.
• MBA is preferred for higher-level oversight and strategic budgeting.
• Ability to manage multiple budgets and produce clear, complex reports.

Responsibilities

• Budgeting: develop and submit annual operating budgets and grant budgets.
• Reporting: reconcile payroll, gift accounts, and grant reports with accuracy.
• Administrative operations: ensure contract compliance and coordinate facilities budgeting.
• Faculty contracting: manage adjunct contracts and budget labor charges.
