Job summary

UW Tacoma Fiscal Services seeks a Manager of Budget Operations to lead the budgeting processes, systems, and financial planning support. You will guide budget administration, Adaptive Planning, and reporting, ensuring schools and administrative units have tools and guidance to manage resources.

The role reports to the Director of Fiscal Services, combines budget system administration with campus support, and requires strong leadership and analytical capabilities in a higher-education setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Admin, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Public Administration or similar field.
• 5 years of demonstrated experience with financial system administration and budget development processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate operational administration of the University's annual operating budget processes with the AVP for Planning & Budget.
• Prepare, review, and process budget revisions, transfers, and related budget transactions.
• Develop financial analyses and reports to support operational and management decisions.
