MBC Talent Connections is seeking a Billing Specialist for our Irvine, CA area role. This full-time position provides accounting support across operations, serving as a key contact for Project Managers from contract through closeout.

You’ll set up and manage projects in Deltek Ajera, generate invoices (125–175 per month), review postings, and ensure timely, accurate packages to clients. A Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance and 2+ years billing experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance required.
• Minimum 2 years of billing experience in a consulting environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with Deltek Ajera or Deltek Vantagepoint is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Build strong working relationships with Project Managers and serve as a trusted resource on all billing matters.
• Set up and maintain projects in Deltek Ajera in accordance with contract requirements; read and interpret contracts for accounting and invoicing implications.
• Generate 125–175 invoices per month and prepare monthly billing reports for Project Managers.
• Review labor and expense postings for accuracy; process transfers as needed.
• Submit complete, accurate invoice packages to clients on time, including all required backup documentation.
• Follow up with clients on invoice receipt and payment status; partner with Project Managers to resolve collection issues.
• Monitor project Work-in-Progress (WIP) and collaborate with Project Managers to address aging WIP.
• Respond promptly and professionally to internal and external inquiries; investigate issues and communicate resolutions clearly.
