Job summary

EdCast is seeking a detail-oriented Billings Specialist in Mountain View, CA to create invoices and credits from complex international agreements and ensure timely, accurate invoicing. You will collaborate with Sales and Collections to resolve questions and drive accurate monthly billing processes.

The role requires 2+ years in billing or accounting, strong Excel skills, and experience with Oracle and Salesforce.

Qualifications

2+ years of billing or accounting experience.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Proficient with Excel, Word, and Windows-based programs.
Experience with Oracle.
Experience with Salesforce.com.
Accounting/Finance knowledge.
Strong/Advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

Create invoices/credits in our accounting system from complex and international customer agreements.
Ensure invoicing to customers is performed timely and accurately, communicating with Sales and collections to resolve billing questions.
Analyze customer billing issues for corrective actions.
Assist in review of billing reports and reconciliations.
Assists in special projects as needed.
Communicate regularly with internal and external individuals as it relates to billing/invoicing activities.
Investigate and resolve billing queries.
Issue refunds and billing adjustments.
Partner with the Collections Team to identify billing issues and resolutions.
Participate in updating billing policies and procedures.
Engage in identifying and implementing process improvements.
Consideration for privacy and security obligations.
