Job summary

EKI Environment & Water, Inc. is seeking a Billing Specialist in Daly City, CA to support project invoicing and financial administration. You will build client invoices, prepare monthly billing reports, and ensure compliance with contract terms from notice to closeout.

You will generate 125–175 invoices per month, review aging, and coordinate with project managers to resolve payment issues. The role focuses on accuracy, timeliness, and effective communication within a growing ESOP-owned firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance required.
• Minimum of two years of billing experience for consulting business.
• Experience with Deltek Ajera and Deltek Vantagepoint preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with Project Managers and manage project billing lifecycle.
• Set up and maintain projects in Deltek Ajera; interpret contracts for invoicing.
• Generate 125–175 invoices per month and distribute monthly billing reports.
• Ensure invoice packages are accurate and submitted timely with client back-up.
• Follow-up on payments and resolve collection issues with project teams.
• Monitor WIP and discuss aging reports with Project Manager.
