Job summary

Generac Power Systems Inc. is seeking a Bid Coordination Specialist to support and coordinate with Energy Systems Regional Sales Managers through the full bidding process.

You will manage bids, monitor projects, and identify new opportunities across bidding platforms, collaborating with sales, operations, and SMEs to craft effective bid strategies. You will maintain comprehensive bid documentation, track deadlines, and format bid documents while ensuring timely deliverables.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in business administration or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1 year of experience in a corporate environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience as a bid manager, proposal manager, or similar role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain bid documentation, records, and pricing information.
• Coordinate bid activities from qualification to submission.
• Maintain bid schedules, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Support creation and formatting of bid documents and templates.
• Oversee projects through bidding platforms to assist Regional Sales Managers.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and SMEs to develop bid strategies.
• Coordinate bid review meetings and gather stakeholder input.
• Monitor activity and pipeline in CRM and generate reports.
• Review and facilitate discount requests and promotions.
• Establish connections with contractors to identify awarded projects.
